The Kiwi Fund provides matching grants to offset the construction costs for modifying the primary residence of a low-income
child or adult with a physical self-care disability.
This means the individual and/or family contributes to the funding for needed home modifications. All money allotted, including recipient contribution and grant assistance, may only be used to offset the construction costs for the modification of a primary residence. Eligible modification must contribute to the creation of a safe and functional living space for the child or adult living with a physical disability that inhibits or prevents self-care.
